On behalf of the Schmidt family and the Columbus Oktoberfest, we would like to welcome you to the 54th Annual Columbus Oktoberfest. Not only does this event have a tremendous history in this city but the Schmidt family adds 130 years of Columbus tradition as well!

The annual Hot Times Community Music and Arts Festival is an independent and all-volunteer-driven community arts and music festival in Columbus, Ohio. The location of the festival is a beautiful grassy area with mature hardwood trees providing the perfect spot to relax and enjoy music!

Thursday, September 5, 7-8:30pm, Compassionate Communication Center of Ohio [inside of Maynard Ave. United Methodist Church], 2350 Indianola Ave.

Join us for an engaging and fun introduction to Compassionate-Nonviolent Communication (NVC), the Language of the Heart, led by Susanna Warren.

People of all experience levels, ranging from beginners to experienced practitioners, are welcome to this gathering. We will have a short explanation, a demonstration, and then we will give everyone a chance to practice giving and/or receiving empathy.

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is comprised of volunteers representing a broad segment of the population including, but not limited to, low-income and minority households and those traditionally underserved by transportation.

Monday, September 2, 10am-4pm, Northam Park, 2070 Northam Rd.

Join us each Labor Day for a day full of art, music, food, and activities at Northam Park. The Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival hosts 25,000 visitors each year who participate in interactive performances and activities, purchase art from some 200 artists who work in a variety of media and enjoy refreshments from a variety of vendors.
