Sunday, September 22, 3:30-6pm, beginning at Genoa Park, 303 W. Broad St.

This event will begin at 3:30pm at Genoa Park with dedications for two local leaders who have died during the past year, Amber Evans and Rubén Castilla Herrera.

The march will step off at 4pm from Genoa Park, 303 W. Broad St.; we will then march to Bicentennial Park via the Broad St. bridge, the Ohio Statehouse, and W. Main St. If you cannot march, please join us at Bicentennial Park.

Sunday, September 22; registration begins at 12noon, ceremony begins at 2pm, walk begins at 2:15pm; Huntington Park, 330 Huntington Park Ln.

Route length: 1.35 miles

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against this disease.

Tuesday, September 17, 8:30am-3:30pm, Ohio Statehouse

Participants will receive training and education and will meet with their elected representatives to discuss issues that affect all Ohioans. Registration fee includes lunch, training, and materials.

The deadline to register is Friday, September 6.

• $25 General admission (if purchased after Sunday, August 25)

• $35 General admission with Statehouse Parking Garage validation (if purchased after Sunday, August 25)
