“Activists and Agitators” is an evening fundraiser dedicated to uniting the Columbus community, inspiring attendees to pursue greater social change than we can achieve alone. At “Activists and Agitators,” we’ll foster dialogue, provide practical resources, and educate the community on how to promote empowerment and inclusion.

Following a morning of “Journey of Hope” speakers speaking in communities of faith throughout Central Ohio, the community is invited to gather to pray and hear more inspiring “Voices of Experience” on the death penalty. Rev. Dr. Jack Sullivan Jr. will present the keynote address, sending “Journey of Hope” speakers off for a week of events throughout the State of Ohio.

Celebrate everything Columbus! Celebrate everything Italian! Celebrate Columbus Italian pride by marching in the family-friendly Columbus Day Italian Parade and High School Marching Bands Competition! The parade that makes Mona Lisa smile.

Join us for the 2019 Columbus CROP Hunger Walk! Registration starts at 12:30pm and our grand send-off is at 12:45pm where we will have special guests recognizing the good work that you do to help end hunger and poverty in Central Ohio and around the world!

The Dances of Universal Peace are simple, meditative, and joyous circle dances that celebrate the variety of spiritual paths on Earth. If you like folk dancing, you’ll be right at home here. No previous experience is needed — just an open and willing attitude. Participation, not presentation, is the focus.

Saturday, October 12, 5pm, Fibonacci Brewing Company, 1445 Compton Rd., Mt. Healthy, Ohio [near Cincinnati]

Join us at Fibonacci Brewery to tap a very special keg, toast the season, and celebrate the labor of love that is farming. Fibonacci has brewed an all-Ohio grown beer and owners Betty and Bob Bollas will host special tours of the brewery and discuss the local sourcing of brewing ingredients.

Cost and registration: a suggested donation of $10 at the door supports OEFFA. OEFFA anniversary beer and other Fibonacci offerings will be available for purchase.
