Thursday, December 5, 7-8:30pm, Compassionate Communication Center of Ohio [inside of Maynard Ave. United Methodist Church], 2350 Indianola Ave.

Join us for an engaging and fun introduction to Compassionate-Nonviolent Communication (NVC), the Language of the Heart, led by Susanna Warren.

People of all experience levels, ranging from beginners to experienced practitioners, are welcome to this gathering. We will have a short explanation, a demonstration, and then we will give everyone a chance to practice giving and/or receiving empathy.

World AIDS Day takes place on December 1 each year and provides an opportunity for people, worldwide, to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first-ever global health day.

TransOhio will hold its annual Transgender Day of Remembrance on Wednesday, November 20 at King Ave. United Methodist Church to honor and lift up the victims of violence against the transgender and gender non-binary/non-conforming community, both across the U.S. and around the world, during 2019.

Come have a great night of fun with the Human Rights Campaign [HRC] when we take over Sequoia Pro Bowl for a night of fun. We have much to celebrate and enjoy while also helping to support the fight for full equality. We have taken over the entire bowling alley to have a night full of pride for our community and a lot of fun. Let’s join together to have fun for a great cause!
