Join the University Archives as we welcome author Bill Shkurti to discuss his new book celebrating Ohio State students in this exciting time. Revisit how they partied, what they celebrated, where they hung out, what they watched and listened to, and how they dressed at a time when being young and in college meant you thought you were entitled to have a good time.

Equality Ohio’s legal clinic provides free legal support to LGBTQ Ohioans, within 300% of the poverty line, who are experiencing legal hardship because of their sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.

Due to community health concerns regarding COVID-19, we are currently suspending our in-person legal clinics. Instead, our attorneys will be hosting virtual Intake Hours throughout the week. If you are in need of legal help, please contact the attorney closest to your area.

This panel discussion will feature activists from the 1960s and 1970s and will include community reflections on the lessons that have been learned.

A pre-screening of photos will begin at 5:30pm; a panel discussion, moderated by Pranav Jani (professor, OSU Department of English), will begin at 6pm.

This annual Social Justice Awards is a fundraiser event to support Think Make Live Youth, a 501(c)3 nonprofit youth empowerment organization.

Since the late medieval period, Jews have observed the practice of Tashlich, often on the first day of Rosh Hashanah. It is based on several passages in the Bible, most notably in the Book of Micah (7:9): “You will hurl all of our sins into the depths of the sea.” Water has continually served as a significant symbol in Jewish life and practice.
