On Wednesday, December 9, America Walks will release a new White Paper on Inclusive Planning in Tribal Communities and broadcast a live webinar featuring the author and members of the Project Advisory Board.

Funded through a Partnership for Inclusive Health Innovation Grant, this project has involved research, key informant interviews, and expert analysis, with the goals being:

1. To understand how people with disabilities are currently engaged in tribal community planning processes, and

Social Movement Ecology [SME] is important for all organizers and activists to understand. It allows all of us to be seen, heard, and valued.

SME lays a framework for organizations with different theories of change to recognize each other’s strengths and weaknesses and work together to produce large-scale social change.
