Ohio is at a tipping point. Our criminal justice system is unduly burdened with historic numbers of Ohioans being held pretrial. Hundreds of thousands of Ohioans have been impacted by the economic toll of the Coronavirus and are simply unable to afford to buy their way out of jail before their trials.

Do you have questions about legally changing your name and or gender marker in Ohio? RSVP to our Virtual Name and Gender Marker Change legal clinic today. You’ll be able to talk to a trained lawyer over the phone or via Zoom about the name and gender marker process.

Virtual Legal Clinic participation requires completed intake paperwork at least 48 hours before the clinic. To participate in this clinic, please complete the intake paperwork by 5pm on 1-11-2021.

Dr. Abby Hafer, one of the two authors [with David Orenstein] of Darwin’s Apostles: The Men Who Fought to Have Evolution Accepted, Their Times, and How the Battle Continues, has graciously agreed to give us [Cleveland Freethinkers] a stimulating discussion about this book.

She’ll be “Zooming in” with us from Massachusetts; her talk will address pertinent issues today including science denial.
