Since we aren’t getting together in person, we can gather for a couple of hours on the second Saturday night of each month, 7-8pm, on Zoom.

This event will feature the following.

• David Swanson of World Beyond War and RootsAction, winner of the U.S. Peace Prize, talking on “What Would Have Been Better Than a Democracy Summit and Why There Should Not Be Any More Pearl Harbor Days.”

ClinArk and Cincinnati Community Leaders Joshua and Ashley Harp will be introducing their first “black tie” event, the Holiday Art Gala in the metropolitan area of Cincinnati.

The Holiday Art Gala is a community-driven art event geared to bring awareness to Sickle Cell disease, the effects that Sickle Cell has on our community, and creating an environment for those in the health industry to network.

This is a free virtual legal clinic to help people who live in or outside of Ohio to change their name/gender marker on their Ohio birth certificates. Please be sure to include your county of birth in the intake paperwork (see below).

For democracy to work, systemic racial inequities in the law and the courts must be addressed. There is a deep distrust of the criminal justice system, which is inherently an issue unto itself while also threatening the legitimacy of the courts. Breaking down these barriers is key to eliminating racism and implicit biases within the laws, courts, and judges, and is also key to building diversity on the bench so that judges will reflect the communities they serve.
