Join Ohio’s statewide abortion fund for an “Abortion Story Speak Out!” On Sunday, June 26, Women Have Options Ohio will hold a workshop at ComFest, 1:50-2:45pm, in the Peace and Healing Pavilion.

One of the most powerful ways to drive home the importance of our work at Women Have Options Ohio, and to ground ourselves in the real impact it has, is through an “Abortion Story Speak Out.”

Join us to break the silence and stigma surrounding abortion and to illustrate the harm caused by new abortion bans.

Join us to celebrate the Summer Solstice and honor Manannán mac Lir at ComFest (and stop by our booth while you’re at it). We will be at the Live Arts stage. The procession to the ritual will begin at 9am from our booth [west of the intersection of Park St. and Poplar St.] to the green space next to the Live Arts Stage. We’ll begin the ritual once we’re set up at Live Arts, at approximately 9:30am.

No private or personal info will be required. STB will teach folks how to stop rapid blood loss in an emergency.

The Hilltop Bean Festival is an 80-year-old tradition that is held every June at Columbus’ Westgate Park. Despite the name, we don’t sit around a table eating beans! This event is a family-friendly festival remembering the history that made the Columbus west side what it is today.

During the Civil War, the area now known as Westgate Park had been a Civil War prison camp called “Camp Chase.”
