What is Plogging?

Plogging is the simple act of picking up litter while you run, hike, or walk. It started in Sweden around 2016 and the term is a merging of the Swedish verbs “plocka upp” (pick up) and “jogga” (jog) creating the new verb “plogga.”

It has become increasingly clear that the systems of “justice” in the U.S. fail a vast majority of people, but how do we change it? Join us as we discuss the cultural changes that make abolition possible. Although it is not easy, with self-reflection, honesty, and community support, we can build a world where all can be free without state-sanctioned violence and policing of our bodies and communities.

No recording of this event will be provided.

Take an in-depth look at what you believe about abortion, reproductive health, access, and more as we team up with facilitators from Catholics for Choice for this dynamic training.

Attendees should expect space to explore their own values around abortion, birth control, and other reproductive health, rights, and justice issues with particular emphasis placed on articulating personal values and communicating with others who may disagree.
