Saturday, November 12, 8-11pm, Sequoia Pro Bowl, 5501 Sandalwood Blvd.

Hello Columbus! HRC Columbus is incredibly excited to welcome you back to one of our favorite fundraising events, “Bowling with Pride”! We are returning to Sequoia Pro Bowl and taking the house over for a night where we can have fun as a community. It has been a very hard few years so we are thrilled to be having fun and shining our pride loudly! Let’s have fun together, raise funds for equality, and get some strikes on the record.

Individual Ticket: $25

Saturday, November 12, 7-8pm, this event will be occurring via Zoom

Since we aren’t getting together in person, we can gather for a couple of hours on the second Saturday night of each month, 7-8pm, on Zoom.

This month’s theme: “The Impact of the 2022 Elections: Local, National, International,” with Medea Benjamin

If you have any announcements for the progressive community, contact us at <colsfreepress@gmail.com>.

Saturday, November 12, 12noon-2pm, Columbus Metropolitan Library [Parsons Branch], 1113 Parsons Ave. [this event will also be occurring via Zoom]

The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called “Going to HCCO” and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.

Saturday, November 12, 12noon-2pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

Join us for our Community Organizing 101 training!

Whether you’re new to organizing or just need a refresher, this training will cover the basics of impactful organizing and the issue campaign cycle. There will be space for discussion and questions.

This training is open and free to all, but we ask non-Black attendees to consider the space they take up and donate to BQIC and/or the trainers, if they can.

Thursday, November 10, 7-9pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

Join us for our monthly all-chapter meeting every second Thursday each month! Attend virtually at dsacb.us/meeting.

This month, we will have a presentation by the Housing Campaign for their six-month reauthorization and a debate on a Resolution to Create a 2022 General Election Voting Guide. There will also be updates from the Childcare Campaign and from our Working Groups and Committees.

Thursday, November 10, 5:30pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

No matter what happens on November 8, the ACLU of Ohio will always be here to fight for our rights and defend our core liberties.

Join our Policy Team for a virtual event to break down the 2022 Midterm Election results.

We’ll be covering top issues, such as the balance of power for the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives, the new political makeup of the Ohio Statehouse, and the impact that State Issues 1 and 2 may have on our state.
