“Inhale/Exhale” is a space for restorative healing for organizers and activists in our lovely ecosystem. We welcome all organizers in the progressive and left movements to honor their bodies by resting and entering this space to learn various ways to heal.

Tuesday, November 29, 9:30am-3:30pm, Trinity Episcopal Church on Capitol Square, 125 E. Broad St.

After the November election is over, the Ohio General Assembly will return to Columbus for about six weeks to finish up their business for the two-year session.

In partnership with the Ohio Council of Churches, we will convene an advocacy day on November 29, 9:30am-3:30pm, for people of faith and good conscience to come to the Statehouse to talk with policymakers on issues such as how to transform our criminal justice system, food security, and strengthening our schools.

Sunday, November 27, 12noon-4pm, Revolutionary Botanicals, 5212 N. High St.

The Bizarket Market will feature 10+ handmade, local vendors. This market will specifically focus on food/drink vendors, bakers, etc. Expect foods that are vegan, Soul Food, Puerto Rican, and Caribbean, plus Drinks, Wine Cellars, Herbal Teas, Mushroom Chocolates, Sweets, Treats, and many more eats! Come have Friendsgiving with us!

Friends. Freedom. Food. Music. Parents. Children. Pets. Laughter. Emotions. And dozens of other things. Despite the virus, racial injustice, and many other challenges, we all have so much to be thankful for.

So join me (Bill Cohen) from 7pm to 8:30pm on Friday, November 25 as I sing a unique concert of songs that express gratitude for all that we have. It’s our ninth year for this Thanksgiving-themed concert.

Thursday, November 24, 1-4pm, Wellness Forum Health, 510 E. Wilson Bridge Rd., Ste. G, Worthington, Ohio

Thanksgiving Day can be difficult to navigate through if the majority of your friends and family aren’t vegan like you. We have been challenged even finding a place that is open on Thanksgiving Day where there is a menu that is free from animal-based items.

Happily, the Wellness Forum Health is allowing us to use their space for a Vegan Thanksgiving Potluck! Please bring your favorite vegan dish to share.

Sunday, November 20, 1-2pm, Washington Gladden Social Justice Park, northeast corner of E. Broad St. and Cleveland Ave.

Please join us as we remember victims of traffic crashes and their loved ones, as well as first responders and medical professionals.

Traffic crash rates in Columbus are still increasing, unfortunately — up 14% in 2021 and rising — despite the “Vision Zero” traffic safety strategy that had been adopted by the City of Columbus two years ago.
