Green Bexley and Bexley’s Tree and Public Gardens Commission are excited to join forces on April 22 for the Earth and Arbor Days Celebration, 10am-1pm, at Schneider Park, a former landfill that now is part of a long trail system and houses the Bexley Community Gardens.

The event will have fun, hands-on activities for kids and the whole family and will be an opportunity to learn more about taking care of our planet and arboretum!

Saturday, April 22, 10am-2pm, beginning and ending in the parking lot of The Boat House at Confluence Park, 679 W. Spring St.

Please register here for the official Confluence Park Earth Day River Clean Up for 2023. They have removed an estimated 15 tons of litter and plastics from the riverbank since 2017 so let’s help continue to keep the watershed clean for fish and wildlife!

Since its inception in 2007, the Ohioana Book Festival has given readers the opportunity to connect with their favorite Ohio writers. Held each spring, the festival welcomes roughly 140 authors and more than 3,000 visitors every year.
