There are many benefits to creating a detailed inventory of a community’s sidewalk network, but practitioners may need guidance to help them plan for conducting a sidewalk inventory, collecting the right information, and using the inventory in their decision-making.

Please join us for a special ribbon cutting for Issa’s Peace Patio at the Hilltop Youth Empowerment Center on Friday, July 21.

The Peace Patio, which will be located at the Hilltop Youth Empowerment Center at 3275 Sullivant Ave., will be used as a community meeting place for youth, a place to have constructive conversations, team-building activities, and other fun.

Join us for our DSA happy hour! We will be meeting on the third Thursday of each month at 7pm at Club Diversity at 863 S. High St. This will be an informal get together to meet, hang out, talk shop, and enjoy the camaraderie! Non-members are welcome to join and learn more about the chapter.

Join us each week for fresh, affordable, nutritious produce, local artisan creations, activities for youth, live music, and a food truck. This week there will be a Plant Swap and Recipe Swap; bring a plant and get a plant. And check out tasty plant-based recipes.

Vendors include Local Matters, Cynts Scents, Sankofa Love Designs, R02K, Coffico, and many, many others!

This event will repeat each Thursday, 3-6pm, until September 28.

Wednesday, July 19, 7-9pm, Maple Grove United Methodist Church, 7 W. Henderson Rd.

This event will be a St. Mary Magdala Celebration with Rev. Paula Hoeffer, an ordained Roman Catholic female priest. This Mass will be a celebration of St. Mary Magdala, the Apostle to the Apostles.
