Tuesday, August 1, 6-8pm, Slammers Bar and Pizza Kitchen, 202 E. Long St.

Tonight is going to be fabulous as we partner with the Ohio Democratic Party Pride Caucus to collect school supplies for the youth at Kaleidoscope Youth Center. We’re collecting all types of supplies so those kids can go back to school in style!

• Representative Anita Somani will be here to talk about “No on Issue 1” and the plans for the final days before the election.

Thursday, August 3, 5:30-6:30pm, IBEW [International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers] 683 headquarters, 939 Goodale Blvd.

Join us on Thursday, August 3 at 5:30pm at the IBEW 683 headquarters, 939 Goodale Blvd., for a community meeting to protect majority rule!

Show up and stand up against this power grab! Issue 1 of the August Special Election dilutes voter power and grassroots power. Let’s make some noise and talk about how we can get the word out!

Thursday, August 3, 3-6pm, 935 Mount Vernon Ave. [near the intersection of Mount Vernon Ave. and N. 17th St.]

Join us each week for fresh, affordable, nutritious produce, local artisan creations, activities for youth, live music, and a food truck. This week there will be a Plant Swap and Recipe Swap; bring a plant and get a plant. And check out tasty plant-based recipes.

Vendors include Local Matters, Cynts Scents, Sankofa Love Designs, R02K, Coffico, and many, many others!

This event will repeat each Thursday, 3-6pm, until September 28.

The Merion Village Association holds monthly public meetings to engage and update our members and neighbors on a variety of topics and interests related to our community.
