Nobody knows the farmers’ market or seasonal eating better than a farmer! In this free outing and picnic, farmer and cheese maker Abbe Turner of Lucky Penny Creamery will share her insider strategies for getting the most out of a trip to the market at any time of year. After a chance to shop, convene for a picnic and enjoy your market bounty together. There will be a summer-eating-focused picnic at the Bexley Farmers’ Market and a fall-focused picnic at the Upper Arlington Farmers’ Market.

The annual Transforming Care Conference [TCC] brings together healthcare providers, researchers, activists, and community members who share a commitment to LGBTQ+ and HIV health equity. Hosted by the Equitas Health institute, TCC inspires action-focused conversations about the issues that matter most to our communities. With both in-person and virtual attendance options, the conference unites a vibrant mix of attendees and presenters who elevate each other’s voices and lived experiences.

Tuesday, October 2, 7-8pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

This training will help you understand the history of religious pro-choice advocacy and the role that modern religious voices play in securing abortion access and defending reproductive freedom in Ohio and across the U.S.

Developed as a “movement introduction” for congregations and faith leaders, participants will learn about the pre-Roe Clergy Consultation Service on Abortion, basic theological perspectives around repro topics, and what options for further engagement exist locally and beyond.

On Monday, October 2 at 12noon, students across Ohio will be walking out and attending the Day of Action. We will be registering students to vote, listening to speakers, and engaging with our communities. You can register your school below.
