The March 19 Democratic primary is just around the corner. Come out and hear from some of the candidates who are running this year in Franklin County and bring some good questions to ask. This event will begin at 7pm; the doors will open at 6:30pm.

With the world’s attention focused on Israel’s “War on Gaza,” it is easy to overlook increased Israeli military actions and growing settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.

More than 700,000 Israeli settlers live in 279 illegal settlements across the occupied West Bank, including 14 in the occupied East Jerusalem.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli military and settler attacks have killed more than 320 Palestinians.

This event will be a series of poetry performances themed on “Black Womanhood” meant to elevate and empower. Herbalist Marjorie Jean-Baptiste will discuss the healing properties of herbs. Entertainment will be provided by Urban Strings and Ohio Village historical interpreters. Refreshments will be provided.
