Join Us for a Day of Restoration. Registration begins at 8am and is open until 11am (come early!) The opening session is at 9am; workshops will begin at 10am. A luncheon for justice-involved citizens and stakeholders will begin at 12noon. There will be give-a-ways and resources all day; don’t be late.

Through the partnership of TransOhio and Equitas Health, with support from local community groups, the Ohio Name Change Legal Clinic offers confidential virtual discussions with trained volunteer attorneys to help you navigate the process! Come with all of your questions and leave with the paperwork you need.

This month, we are excited to be joined by special guest Katie Fahey, the executive director of The People. Katie was one of the leaders who successfully organized to pass redistricting reform in Michigan. Join us to learn about her fight against gerrymandering and be inspired!

At the Huddle, we will also discuss ways for you to get involved and make sure the Citizens Not Politicians amendment passes in November!

Ohio’s Oil and Gas Land Management Commission, under the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, will hold its next meeting on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 1pm.

During this meeting, the commission will discuss:

• Nominations to frack Egypt Valley Wildlife Area and Salt Fork State Park, as well as two parcels managed by the Ohio Department of Transportation

The 38th Annual Music on the Lawn summer concert series kicks off in July with a new outdoor pavilion and site improvements to celebrate the library’s 100th anniversary! A significant portion of the project is being funded with a donation from the Grandview Heights Public Library Foundation.

Concerts take place on Tuesdays, 7-8pm, July and August (instead of June-July, due to construction).
