Although we are thrilled with the passage of the Ohio Reproductive Freedom Amendment (a.k.a Issue 1) last year, the fight for equitable abortion access is long from over. With the current legal challenges to Ohio’s 24-hour waiting period for abortion patients and the telemedicine abortion ban, electing Justices to the Ohio Supreme Court who support reproductive freedom and will uphold our amendment is more important now than ever.

Sugar Ray, Tonic and Lit are coming to Columbus Commons! Downtown Columbus, Inc. and CAPA [Columbus Association for the Performing Arts] invite you to rock out outdoors on the Columbus Commons lawn.

Free tickets are required for entry, and they are limited. Tickets will be available on our website, beginning on July 31 at 10am, at this link.

5pm: Gates open at the Rich St. entrance only. Food trucks and bars will open.

Join us for the tenth Annual Merion Village Festival!

This annual, outdoor, rain-or-shine festival features artists, crafters, businesses, and organizations as we celebrate the community and atmosphere of the Historic Merion Village neighborhood. All proceeds from this event benefit the Merion Village Association, a 501(c)(3) civic organization.

Saturday, August 24, 1-5pm, Whetstone Park of Roses Shelter House, 3901 N. High St.

The first Columbus ArborFest, a celebration of the trees, plants, waterways, animals, and insects of Columbus, will be held at Whetstone Park this summer on Saturday, August 24 from 1pm to 5pm. The festival is free to attend and will feature live music, food trucks, local exhibitors, a native plant sale, and activities for adults and children alike.

Every year, we gather to celebrate Rubén’s life and his lasting impact on the community on his birthday; August 24. The event will also be a fundraiser for the Central Ohio Worker Center.
