“Community Speakout for Transit Justice,” hosted by Sunrise Columbus and Sierra Club Ohio

Thursday, September 2, 5-7pm, Fairwood Park [at the shelter near the playground], 1392 Fairwood Ave.

We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to secure historic investments in public transit. And we need Representative Joyce Beatty and Senator Sherrod Brown to be on board.

Join us to learn more about how you can take action for transit.

Speakers will discuss the status of transit in Franklin County, and we want to hear your experiences with public transit and your ideas for how it could be improved. Then we will share ways to make sure that our Ohio congress members will push for a federal budget reconciliation deal that includes adequate funds to expand public transit!

We’ll be at the shelter near the playground. The program runs 5-6:30pm, but feel free to drop by anytime between 4pm and 7pm. Pizza and beverages will be provided!

This will be an in-person outdoor event. Masks and social distancing will be required.

If you have accessibility needs, please contact Molly Nichols <molly.nichols@sierraclub.org>.
