“Community Backyards Workshop: Columbus East/Bronzeville,” hosted by Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District and Bronzeville Growers Market

Thursday, July 3, 4pm, OSU African American and African Studies Community Extension Center, 905 Mt. Vernon Ave.

Join us for a GreenSpot Community Backyards class to learn more about sustainable home gardening. We can all make small changes in our yards to make a big impact for a better environment and healthier waterways while saving money. This workshop is presented by Sunny Glen Garden and sponsored by Bronzeville Growers Market.

Plus, City of Columbus and/or Franklin County residents who attend will qualify for a voucher on one backyard conservation item: rain barrel, native plants, or compost bin. Registration in advance is encouraged but is not required.

Additional details may be found on the program website: CommunityBackyards.org.
