Columbus City Council Virtual Hearing on Wage Theft Ordinance

Wednesday, August 19, 5:30pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

Columbus City Council member Rob Dorans will convene a public hearing on Columbus City Ordinance 1802-2020, regarding wage theft in the City of Columbus, and will gather public input on the legislation.

Any resident seeking to submit written testimony should forward it to the office of Councilmember Dorans. Written testimony must be received by 5pm on the day of the meeting and e-mailed to Kevin McCain at <kbmccain@columbus.gov>.

Residents who want to provide testimony via WebEx during the virtual hearing must email Kevin McCain at <kbmccain@columbus.gov> by 4pm on the day of the hearing to request a WebEx speaker link. Each speaker’s remarks are limited to three minutes or less.

This hearing will be available via live stream on Facebook Live and will be posted on the City of Columbus YouTube channel following the event.
