“Celebrate Trails Day [Columbus, Ohio],” hosted by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy and three other groups

Saturday, April 23, 12noon-5pm, Genoa Park, 303 W. Broad St.

Take part in “Celebrate Trails Day” in Columbus, Ohio, at an Earth Day celebration!

Hosted by @GreenColumbus with other partners, this free celebration includes:

• A family-friendly bike ride along the trails starting at 2pm. A limited number of CoGo bikes will be available for those at the event without a bike of their own.

• Guided walks starting at 1pm.

• Food and drinks, including a beer garden

• Great giveaways

• And more fun!

You will also get to learn more about the Great American Rail-Trail, a multiuse trail that will stretch more than 3,700 miles between Washington, D.C., and Washington State — including Columbus!

Hosted on the fourth Saturday of April, Celebrate Trails Day is an annual spring celebration of America’s trails. Started by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy in 2013, the celebration encourages people across the country to get outside and to enjoy the nation’s exceptional trails and trail systems.

This event will be in conjunction with Earth Day Columbus 2022.

Hosted by Remember Us Urban Scouts, Green Columbus, Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission [MORPC], and Rails-to-Trails Conservancy.
