“Broken Glass; Shattered Lives: The Impact of Hate Speech” [Community Kristallnacht Commemoration]

Thursday, November 8, 7pm, Gloria Dei Worship Center, Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University, 2199 E. Main St.

Join us as we come together as a community to commemorate Kristallnacht with featured speaker Mark Weitzman, who will discuss the impact of hate speech.

Mark is the Director of Government Affairs for the Simon Wiesenthal Center and a member of the official U.S. Delegation to the International Holocaust Remembrance Authority (IHRA). He spearheaded IHRA’s recent adoption of the Working Definition of Antisemitism and was the lead author of IHRA’s Working Definition of Holocaust Denial and Distortion.

This event will be free and open to the public; an RSVP is not required.
