“Beyond Visibility: A Transgender Day of Visibility Discussion,” hosted by Equitas Health Institute

Friday, March 31, 12noon-1pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

Annually and internationally recognized on March 31, Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) is a day that’s dedicated to celebrating transgender people while also raising awareness of discrimination and issues facing the gender-expansive community.

In recognition of this day, the Equitas Health Institute is hosting a virtual panel discussion that will feature staff from across Equitas Health. The discussion for this TDOV panel will include topics like access to gender-affirming care, legal needs for the community, the impact of anti-trans legislation, the need for more than just visibility, and much more.

Panelists for this event include the following.

• Dr. Teagan Vaughn (she/her), Director of Gender-Affirming Care

• Key Beck (they/them), Interim Senior Manager of Clinical Prevention Programs

• Mel Carroll (he/him) Program Manager for Gender-Affirming Care Health Navigation

• Oliver Licking (they/them), Legal Clinic Coordinator

This event will be moderated by Ramona Peel (she/her), Lead Trainer of the Equitas Health Institute.
