“BBQueer and Book Fair,” hosted by Kaleidoscope Youth Center

Friday, August 15, 4-7pm, Kaleidoscope Youth Center, 603 E. Town St.

All ages are welcome to attend this event.

Bar-B-Queer is our annual back-to-school event hosted at Kaleidoscope Youth Center, where we provide free backpacks stuffed with school supplies for school-age youth (while supplies last and youth must be present).

We will have food, drinks, community partner connections — and new for 2025 — an LGBTQIA+-inclusive book fair. We will provide free book vouchers for youth ages 12-20 (while supplies last). Everyone’s welcome to buy books and any other cute stuff that the book sellers will have for sale.
