“Autobiography of Assata Shakur Reading Group,” hosted by Central Ohio Revolutionary Socialists

Join Central Ohio Revolutionary Socialists on Thursday, May 11 for the first part of our reading group on Assata (Shakur), An Autobiography.

This book gives a personal and political look into the life of Assata Shakur, a Black Panther, feminist, and revolutionary activist during the radical movements of the 60s and 70s and details her struggle against the repression she and many others faced at the hands of the U.S. government.

We will cover the first seven chapters of this book during the first meeting. The second meeting will cover chapters 8-14; the third meeting will cover chapters 15-21.
