AIDS Walk Ohio 2021: Virtual 5K Walk and Run

Thursday, April 29 to Thursday, May 13, this on-line event requires advance registration

AIDS Walk Ohio might look a little different this year, but we are excited about the new ways to participate virtually and in-person.

April 29 through May 13, participants can complete their 5K, wherever they want to, by using an app. Share your walk/run progress and see where you line up compared to other participants on the leaderboard.

All participants will receive access to the app starting April 29. You will receive your T-shirt, bib, and any other fundraising prizes for which you may qualify at the end of April.

During the past eight years, AIDS Walk Ohio has raised over $2 million for AIDS service organizations in Ohio, including Equitas Health, who produces the event and is the primary beneficiary.

At Equitas Health, funds raised support HIV/AIDS medical care and treatment, HIV prevention (which includes PrEP), and a variety of other services, for example, primary care, behavioral health counseling, and dental care [which is one of the most unmet needs of those living with HIV].
