1960’s-Style Folk Music Sing-Along

Join the Folk Ramblers -- Bill Cohen and Carl Yaffey --  in singing the classic folk songs we remember from decades ago.  We’ll do songs made famous by Pete Seeger, the Kingston Trio, the Limelighters, Joan Baez, Peter Paul and Mary, the Weavers, Harry Belafonte, Tom Paxton, and others.

Sing and clap along to love songs, children’s songs, work songs, civil rights songs, anti-war songs, lullabies, and more.  We’ll feel the power, energy, and community that people feel when they sing together.

We’re talking songs such as If I Had a Hammer, Puff, Where Have All the Flowers Gone, This Land is Your Land, Irene Goodnight, This Little Light of Mine, We Shall Overcome, and Charlie on the MTA.

Bill will bring his guitar, and Carl will bring his banjo.  YOU just bring your voice, your smile, and your spirit!

There’s no admission charge, but proceeds from your generous donations will go to the Holy Name food pantry.

Actually, the place will be open, starting at 4 p.m., with food available.
