Jeanne Kay almost graduated from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, but Neoliberalism got in the way. She then obtained an MA in Postcolonial Studies and a Law Degree from University of London, and is hoping to gain pass the Bar in the US and become a practicing Social Justice Lawyer in the next couple of years. Her interests include welfare law, heterodox criminology, critiques of financialization and bringing down the patriarchy. She currently lives in Valencia, Spain, with her pitbull Ginger, and her husband, Lawrence Richards, the Freep's Europe correspondent.
